Philosophy and Goals Safety Comes First
Our primary goal is for children to feel safe and secure. Our philosophy as First Heaven Child Care Learning Center is safety comes first. We offer a safe Christian environment place for your child. We protect your child by following the safety minimum standards by putting them in practice daily with consistency child supervision by our train staff. We are compliance with health and safety measures to provide safety to our children in the center. Our staff is trained and qualified to be prepared before working in the classrooms on their own. All staff will have trainings and other requirements to be up-date as needed. All teachers and staff will be provided with most recent research in safety and child development trainings.
Expose
All children are unique and each one will be expose to a stimulating educational environment where they will learn, grow physically, mentally, emotionally and socially. We will create this type of atmosphere where our children will meet their full potential for them to develop all domains.
Respect others
First Heaven Child Care Learning Center Staff will care and respect each child learning level and age. Children will be provided with adequate materials to explore. Children will have the opportunity to express their feelings and thoughts through learning activities.
Teachers time in center
Primary teacher will be working all day in class with your child until 3.30 pm. Consider that teachers don’t work more than 8 hours daily. There will be a different teacher working in the afternoons for the care of the class. During the afternoon we do have after schoolers coming to the center and also, we do combine children at the end of the day to prepare for closing time. Our closing time is 7:30pm after hours a late fee will be charge depending on time and children that will be used to pay the staff taking care of your child after hours.
Educational and Teaching
First Heaven teachers are requiring to provide students daily hands-on activities. Teachers will be mandated to follow a schedule for the students. Teachers will supervise and take pictures of their work as much as possible and share with parents. Teachers will have a small 10–15-minute conference during morning arrival monthly to share child’s progress. Conference can be through phone calls (nap-time) or paper notes to send home also in person at the center during the morning time. Teacher will share positive progress and any recommendations to work as a team. Any negative concerns or behaviors will be with directors.
Train Teachers
Teachers working in the center are trained and graduated teachers. We do not have professional teachers. We do provide educational trainings and caring training for the best of our children. First Heaven provides TRS coaching trainings that is require by CCS. ECI training to work with children concerns or behavior issues to improve teaching and teachable moments. AgriLife trainings for child’s development depending on their age-appropriate activities. Food Program on how to feed children with healthy foods and portions. CPR and First Aid in case of an emergency to provide the best care of the children in the classroom. Every staff has a background check for the safety of the children.
